FACILITIES PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT

Our Stewardship Mission:  We take care of the University's places and spaces.

Our work enables the University community to pursue scholarship, research, teaching, learning, spiritual celebration, residential life, athletics and recreation by providing and sustaining the environments necessary for the activities of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors.

We oversee and perform facilities management, maintenance, operations, planning, design, renovation, and construction of all real property and real estate assets, including campus land, structures, buildings and their systems, utilities, and grounds.  We also manage and track tangible institutional assets, such as University-owned and government-owned equipment, furniture and other property entrusted to the care of University employees.

Our interdisciplinary team of Facilities personnel, including planners, architects, engineers, designers, landscape architects, project managers, risk management specialists, asset and space managers, environmental and safety officers, sustainability specialists, custodial, maintenance, utilities, and trades staff are dedicated to creating and sustaining campus places and spaces that support the mission of the University.
